Watch history come alive during this interactive, fun, and educational historical skit depicting life in the Royal Naval Dockyard in the mid 1800s accompanied by a guided walking tour, appropriate for all ages. Knowledgeable guides and actors, fully dressed in period costume, will transport you to another time as you explore Dockyard and discover the historical aspects of breakwaters, fortifications, workshops, and storehouses. Visit some of Dockyard’s most historically interesting places while seeing the modern usage and offering as you stroll amidst its historic walls.
This FREE Historical Walking Tour, sponsored by WEDCO and the Bermuda Tourism Authority, is offered every Friday at 10:00am between Friday, July 16, 2021, and Friday, August 6, 2021. Also offered every Monday at 10:00am between Monday, August 16, 2021, to Monday, September 20, 2021, starting from the Moongate on the Cruise Ship Pier and ending at the Clocktower Mall.
