History will come alive on this Historical Walking Tour as you’re transported to the 1800’s in this entertaining & educational tour! Join your guide at the moongate on the pier for an interactive tour while discovering Dockyard’s exciting history.

Knowledgeable guides and actors, fully dressed in period costume, will transport you to another time as you explore Dockyard and discover the historical aspects of breakwaters, fortifications, workshops, and storehouses. Visit some of Dockyard’s most historically interesting places while seeing the modern usage and offering as you stroll amidst its historic walls. Appropriate for all ages.

The FREE Historical Walking Tour, sponsored by WEDCO, is offered every Tuesday  at 9:45am between Tuesday September 6, 2022, and Tuesday November 29, 2022, starting from the Moongate on the Cruise Ship Pier and ending at the Clocktower Mall.

The Royal Naval Dockyard

Built by Royal decree to defend British superiority on the seas, the Royal Naval Dockyard is today a resplendent place of discovery.
